For users seeking to activate our prompts after the checkout process, it's essential to confirm whether you're still utilizing the Legacy or Checkout Extensibility "Thank You" page.

You can verify this by navigating to your Shopify store's settings > Checkout > Order status page. If you encounter the following message, it signifies that you're using the new version of the "Thank You" page!

If this is the case, let's proceed with finalizing the setup to ensure that Address Validator loads post-checkout.

To do this:

  1. Navigate to Address Validator > Home > Set Up Post-Checkout Validation > (Checkout extensibility).

Complete the app setup by following these steps:

  1. Access your store's settings in Shopify.

  2. Select Checkout > Customize your checkout.

  3. Enter the checkout editor.

  4. 4. Specify where you'd like our prompts to appear (Thank You page).

5. Click "Add App" located at the bottom left corner.

6. Choose the Address Validator extension.

What’s the difference?

The new Checkout UI Extension Integration offers the same functionality as the previous “Legacy” version in terms of address validation, however, there are still some limitations when it comes to customization.

For example, now the prompts are embedded instead of the previous window pop-up.

Once you've finished setting up the "Thank You" page, the next step is to test the app to ensure that the prompts are loading correctly.

Please refer to the following article for guidance on how to perform the testing process.
